Frankie Donald Statile III

Frankie was born in Evansville, Indiana, on September 8, 1997, the son of Frank and Teresa Statile Jr. When he was only months old, his family moved to Mint Hill, NC. Frankie attended school at Queens Grant Charter School, Independence High School and ultimately attended CPCC to study Fire Science. He most recently had been working for FedEx while living in Wadesboro. He had also volunteered for the Idlewild Volunteer Fire Department in Matthews, NC. Frankie loved the outdoors and caring for animals. Animals that had no home with anyone else, always had a home with Frankie. He studied all types of animals to learn how to care for them properly. Frankie also enjoyed fishing and going to the beach. He was barefoot more than not. When not able to be outdoors, he enjoyed drawing, reading, writing, playing video games, and renovating his home. Frankie was fearless, intelligent, empathetic, and always helping others before they asked. Most of all, he loved his friends and his family. When you were his friend, you were a friend for life, and he was fiercely protective of those he loved. Frankie was a dear friend, a devoted son, and a loving brother. Frankie is survived by his parents; his siblings: Katie, Matthew and Emily of Charlotte; his maternal grandmother, Marie Queen of Gastonia; and a host of other friends, both human and animal. Frankie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Catherine Statile, and his maternal grandfather, James Queen.
