Jason Cedric Wallace

Jason Cedric Wallace, 30, of Mint Hill, NC, died unexpectedly in Dallas, Texas. Jason was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on February 20, 1991, the son of Theril Wallace and Anita Jones. He grew up between Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Mint Hill, North Carolina and was a graduate of Independence High School. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2016 and was subsequently honorably discharged. Jason enjoyed computers and gaming, especially online role playing games. Jason also enjoyed anime, going to the movies, and going out to eat. Most of all, Jason loved the time spent with family and friends, and it was not always about what he was doing but who he was doing it with. Jason’s outgoing personality made him someone you always remembered. His trusting and loving heart ensured he never met a stranger. Jason is survived by his mother, Anita Jones of Mint Hill, NC; his father, Theril (wife Paula) Wallace of Rock Hill, SC; his sister Heather Jervis of Charlotte; and his son, Sean Thomas of Matthews. Jason is further survived by his maternal grandparents, Billy and Luellen Jones of Mint Hill; the mother of his son, Kelsey Wertz of Matthews; a special uncle, David (wife Denise) Whitlow of Waxhaw, NC; a special aunt, Sandy (husband Marty) Love of Fort Mill, SC; an aunt Dorothy (Sean) Malone of Dinwiddie, Virginia; an aunt Shari Jones of Alameda, CA; an aunt Doris Crocker of York, SC; and uncle Jeff (wife Tracy) Wallace of Chester, SC; and numerous other relatives and friends. The family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home has been given the privilege of caring for Jason and the Wallace family. All services will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, at the funeral home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road, Matthews, NC. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
