Victoria Lauren Marie Mullis

Victoria Lauren Marie Mullis, 30, of Albemarle, NC, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Novant Health Presbyterian Campus in Charlotte. Victoria was born in Monroe, North Carolina, on November 7, 1990, the daughter of Eddie Mullis and Crystal Newland. She grew up in Monroe and graduated from Piedmont High School in Monroe. She went on to study as an Ultrasound Tech at SPCC. Most recently, she had been working at Food Lion in Richfield, NC. When not working, Victoria enjoyed playing the guitar and the flute, going to the beach, baking and confectionary, (her dream was to one day be a pastry chef) reading and doing arts and crafts. Getting her artistic talents from her grandmother, she especially enjoyed drawing and painting. Victoria was also very spiritual. Most of all, she loved the three children she was blessed with and the family she was blessed to be a part of. When it came to family, it didn’t matter what you were doing, it was all about who you were doing it with. Victoria is survived by her three children: Donavan, Gianni and Novaleigh; her parents: Eddie (Shirley) Mullis and Crystal Newland; her stepfather, Jesse Pressley; her stepmother, Lynn Lake; her siblings: Seth, Jamie and Emilee; her grandparents: Dwayne and Vickie Lewis; her great grandmother, Evelyn H. Curlee; her uncle, Steven Walters; her aunt, Dayna (Michael) Young; her aunt Nikki (Phil) Harris; her uncle Brandon Lunceford; her great aunt and uncle, Jim and Rose Broome. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Victoria’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for her and for them. A graveside service led by Mr. Michael Neddo will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 20, at Evergreen Cemetery in Charlotte. Services will be livestreamed and recorded.
