Constance Elaine Homola

Constance “Connie” Elaine Homola, 64, of Monroe, died January 17, 2022, at Atrium Health Union in Monroe. Connie was born in Philadelphia on March 8, 1957, the daughter of Clyde and Doris Mink Wills Jr. She grew up in Philadelphia, graduating from Ridley High School, Class of 1975. On July 29, 1983, she married Michael T. Homola in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They lived in Philadelphia where all three of their sons were born before they moved to Monroe in 1995. Connie then went to work for the Union County Sheriff’s Department as a detention and court officer, positions she held until 2005. Following her dream, she went back to school and received a degree in Massage Therapy, upon which she owned and operated her own business, In Touch Therapeutic Massage. Connie ultimately retired from that in 2015. When not working, Connie enjoyed supporting her favorite sports team, the Philadelphia Eagles, and watching NCIS and other crime dramas. Most of all, she loved the family she was blessed with and being a mother and grandmother. Connie is survived by her three sons: Matthew (wife Meghan) Homola of Greenfield, Ohio; Adam Homola of Monroe; and Jacob (wife Savannah) Homola of Monroe; her mother, Doris Wills of Monroe. She is further survived by two grandchildren, Grace and Emily Homola; and numerous other relatives and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her father and her husband. Connie’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for her and for them. At her request, services will be private.
