Elizabeth "Betty" Stipcak

July 18, 1922 - June 15, 2017

Elizabeth A. "Betty" Stipcak, 94, of Charlotte, went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of June 15, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Elizabeth was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, on July 18, 1922, to Leo and Jennie Wedyke where she spent most of her life. She is survived by her daughters Carol Nickerson of Charlotte, Pat Schlusher of Michigan; grandchildren: Mindy (husband John) Swarthout, Larry (wife Darla) Garagiola, Carl (wife Pam) Schlusler, Ralph (wife Peggy) Schlusler Jr, Ann (husband Scott) Miles, Stephanie (husband Scott) Willett, Tony (wife Becky) Garagiola, and Gino (wife Kim) Garagiola; great grandchildren: Danny Miles, Michaela Willett, Courtney Willett, Heath Willett, Tony (wife Shelly) Swarthout, Andy Swarthout, Carleana (husband Sean) De La Cruz, Tory (wife Monica) Garagiola, Jacklyn Schlusler, Ralph Schlusler Jr, Frank Schlusler, Corey Garagiola, Amber Garagiola, Grant Garagiola, Jake Garagiola, Mac Garagiola, and Alina Garagiola; and great great grandchildren Lily Swarthout, Anna De La Cruz, and Jaina De La Cruz. Her grandsons Gino and Tony Garagiola are known in Charlotte as the owners of Gino's Auto Repair. Elizabeth is further survived by numerous other family and friends. Elizabeth was an avid Euchre player and loved to play golf. She also loved the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and the Detroit Pistons. Elizabeth's family has given the family of the Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the honor and privilege of caring for them.
