Isolde Maria Baumgartner
July 9, 1942 - September 1, 2016
Mrs. Isolde Baumgartner, went to be with her Lord and her soul-mate Alois, on Thursday, September 1, 2016. She and Alois met at Oktoberfest in Munich Germany. After 6 months they wed on December 8, 1961. As immigrants they arrived in Long Island, NY in 1963 and nine months later their first child, son Alois was born. In 1969 they both became US citizens and cried with joy pledging the American Legion. They celebrated that summer with the birth of their second child, daughter Elisabeth, named after Alois's mother in their new home. Isolde and Alois loved traveling to Atlantic City, Las Vegas and Bahamas and made sure every 4 years the family would spend the summer in Germany. Isolde had a great love for her family especially her wonderful granddaughter Mia. "Please come and celebrate Isolde Baumgartner life with her son, Alois, her daughter, Lisa (Giancarlo), and granddaughter, Mia....An open house, come and go..a special tribute for Isolde will start at 4:00.
