Larry Clyde Baucom, 78, of Matthews, North Carolina, passed away on March 13, 2020 at Novant Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Baucom was born in Charlotte on May 12, 1941 and was a United States Army and Reserves Veteran, a retiree from Norfolk Southern Rail Road, and a devoted member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte. He will be greatly missed. Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Victoria Elizabeth Perdue Baucom, his children Christina Baucom of Matthews, Jerry Adams and his wife Laura, of Charlotte, and Johnny Adams and his wife Beverly of Concord, North Carolina. Mr. Baucom is also survived by his grandchildren, Mason Adams of Charlotte, and Aaron Adams and his wife Ashley, of Hendersonville, North Carolina. He is survived by a sister Diane Sansing and her husband Ron, of Kannapolis, North Carolina and is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Louise and James Clyde Baucom. A private family and friends gathering will take place at a later date.
