Henry William McCall

Henry William McCall of Indian Trail, 64 died March 1st, 2015 surrounded by family at Levine Dickson Hospice House at Southminster. Henry was born in Mecklenburg County on October 11, 1950 the third child of Jess Lee McCall and Myrtle Kathleen McCall-Hefner. He answered his country’s call to service in the United States Army where he faithfully served 3 1/2 years with an honorable discharge. Henry proudly called Thomas Concrete his work family of 14 years. Henry is survived by his wife Sarah Diane McCall of Indian Trail NC; two children: Wendy McCall Bailey (husband Robert) of Gastonia, NC, and Christopher Perrin McCall (girlfriend Lindsey Phillips) of Mint Hill, NC; Grandchildren Madison McCall, Morgan McCall and Cameron McCall, (mother of his grandchildren Jennie Whitmore McCall). Siblings: Carolyn Wright of Charlotte; Vann (Wanda) McCall of Indian Trail, NC; George (wife Toni) McCall of Lake Wylie, NC; Beverly (husband Bobby) Williams of Midland; Jane (husband Tim) Clark of Monroe; James “Cooter” (wife Jennifer) McCall of Davidson; Robbie Hefner of Charlotte; Jerry Hefner of Mint Hill; and Terry Hefner (special sister in law Linda Zenzayer)of Mint Hill. Brothers and sisters in law Sonny Vinson (wife Jean); Rhonda (Sissy) Burnette (husband Sam); Nephew Dusty Burnette (wife Shanna); Niece Jenny Burnette Novak. He is further survived by who he fondly called his surrogate son, Don Richmond (wife Sarah) as well as many other great nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Charlie And Gene McCall. Henry's family has given the privilege of serving them to the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road, Matthews, NC 28105, 704-545-3553. A gathering and visitation will be held on Saturday March 7, 2015 at the funeral home starting at 1:30 pm. At 2:30 pm, services will be held in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow and take place at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd Charlotte NC 28227. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and acts of kindness.
