Jacqueline Ann Waterfall

It is with great sadness we share Jacqueline “Jackie” Waterfall’s passing on October 18, 2021, at her Charlotte, North Carolina home. She was 83. Jackie is preceded in death by Donald "Ike" and Ida Beyer of Rockford, Illinois, and former spouse Eugene “Gene” Waterfall, Hilton Head South Carolina. Jackie is survived by her four children, Cindy Waterfall Lewis (husband Tim) of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Bradley Waterfall (partner Bobbie) of Dacula, Georgia, Vicki Waterfall Blake (husband Thomas) of Grand Junction, Colorado, Jennifer Waterfall Anderson (husband Eric) of Charlotte and brother Bill Beyer (wife Jill) of Rockford, Illinois; her grandchildren Tyler Lewis (wife Elizabeth), Alex Lewis (wife Corrine), Ryan Lewis, Joseph Waterfall, Kelsey Waterfall, Taggart Blake, Kellen Blake, Madeleine Blake, Keaton Anderson, Bryce Anderson, Zoe Anderson and Grady Anderson. Jackie is further survived by her great grandchildren Sam and Elin Lewis; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Jackie’s life began in Oskaloosa, Iowa, on July 1, 1938. Here family shortly after moved to Rockford, Illinois. She enjoyed life in Illinois, New Jersey and Wisconsin while raising four children. She was fortunate to travel the globe, and when home, she loved reading, gardening and collecting pelican figurines. Though born in the Land of the Bears, she dedicated her NFL Sunday to a more winning team, her beloved Green Bay Packers. Fiercely independent, when the retirement chapter of her life arrived, she chose beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina, to be her next home, moving there in 2000. Jackie remained friends with her former spouse, Gene and his wife, Mary. On October 5, Gene himself was called home, just 13 days before Jackie. Services at her garden mausoleum at Charlotte Memorial Gardens will be held on Tuesday, Oct 26th at 11:30 and will be livestreamed via ZOOM. The link and information is at the end of this obituary.
