Stephanie Holman

Stephanie Funderburk Love Holman, 60 of Indian Trail, NC, passed away Monday August 28, 2023, at her home. Stephanie was born on April 29, 1963, in Union County to the late Robert and Nancy Funderburk. She grew up in Charlotte and in high school, was a cheerleader, played piano and participated in recitals. After high school, Stephanie loved to travel and meet new people. She was blessed with the gift of caring for others and enjoyed the outdoors. She spent a lot of her time in the flower garden. Most of all, Stephanie loved to be around friends and family. She was a loving daughter, wonderful sister and mother. Family meant the world to Stephanie and she would do anything to help others. Stephanie had a special relationship with each family member and loved them all dearly. She was a very kind and loving person and her laughter and love will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her. Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nancy Funderburk and a niece, Amanda Funderburk. She is survived by her seven children and 10 grandchildren: son Aaron (Michele) Boyd and children AJ and Jordan Boyd; son Casey (Ashley Smith) Boyd of Concord; son Kelly Funderburk of Lumberton and daughter Elna; son Sandy (Laney Curroth) Oliver and children Ben and Noah Oliver; daughter Roxie (Dylan) Lamoree and children Alec and Anson Lamoree; daughter Ariel (Jake Starnes) Oliver and children Emma, Wyatt and Addison; and daughter Gabby Oliver. Stephanie is also survived by her brother Bobby (Lana) Funderburk of Monroe; her sister Jenny (Jon) Trull of Monroe; and her brother Rob (Kamalis Creighton) Vance of Floridia and son Denzel. Stephanie is further survived by her nieces and nephews: Dennis Street, Chasity Street, Jon H. Trull, Jade Trull, Amy Funderburk, Maleah Funderburk, and Denzel Creighton; great nieces and nephews: Dixon Street, Kora Street, Emery Street, Mylo Street, Layton Funderburk, Presley Hall, Maverick Hall, and Jonny Kann; and her extended family: Allison Knight and Andrea Pendelton, Allen Shearin, and Colleen Shearin who were very special to Stephanie. She opened her home to her and welcomed Stephanie as her own. Stephanie’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for her and for them. A gathering to celebrate her life, love and blessing will be held at 1:30, Friday, September 8, 2023, at Faith Baptist Church. All services will conclude at the church. On behalf of the family, thank you to each and every one who showed Stephanie kindness and love and thank you for the thoughts, prayers and acts of kindness during this difficult time.
