Wanda Dane Ritch Holub

Wanda Dane Ritch Holub better known as “Yaya” to her close friends and family, 61, of Charlotte won her final battle with Stage IV Breast Cancer on September 23, 2019. On this day she entered into God’s merciful grace and was healed. Born September 14, 1958 to Linda and Julies Ritch in Charlotte, NC. The second oldest of 4 children. She attended West Charlotte High School and took classes at CPCC. She was employed for many years at the Nalle Clinc and Carolinas Healthcare System. Wanda Dane confessed her love for God at an early age. She taught Sunday school at Dilworth United Methodist when her children were younger. She eventually found a home at Eastway Church of God. It was here she discovered her gift of speaking in tongues. She loved the beach and finding a hiding gem at a flea market or consignment shop. She would go on to become a professional Walmart shopper and laundry enthusiast. If you wanted something done right, let her do it. She would never allow her disease to define her and her faith never faltered on the healing that God promises us. Her strength and courage were admired by all those that loved her. Dane is survived by her loving spouse, Doug Ferrendelli. His love for her over the past 20 years has been the greatest love of on this Earth. Her mother, Linda Ritch of Charlotte. Her Siblings, Jay, Gina, and Mark Ritch of Charlotte. Her sons, Steven and Michael (Wendy) and daughter Michelle Abney all of Charlotte. Her stepsons, Brent (Taisha) and Grant (Jessica) Ferrendelli of Concord and many sons who called her mom, in particular Morris Massalay and Jay Robinson of Charlotte. 14 Grandchildren, Shawn, Tiffany, Kala, Anthony, Trenton, Elijah, Arianna, Angel, Bryson, Christian, Alex, Dustin, Haley, and Trinity. 1 Great-granddaughter, Paisley, and Granddogs, Dragon, Cash, Ace, Milo and a feisty cat named Snowball. She is now dancing in Heaven with her father, Julies “Duke” Ritch who proceeded her in death. Her memorial service is Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home located at 4715 Margaret Wallace Road. Visitation begins at 11:00 am, followed by service at 12:00 PM. The family requests donations be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation on her behalf in lieu of flowers.
